The ‘Spirit of 2012’ is a trust at the heart of carrying on the 2012 Olympic legacy.

The trust works in partnership with other organisations and projects to enable young people to take an active part in their communities.

In conjunction with the RFU, the Spirit Of Rugby was born. A project across 15 different UK locations with the purpose of engaging more people in Rugby.

Our vision is to create opportunities for young people to become an active part of the Rugby community.

With the influence of the Rugby World Cup what better time to inspire people in our communities to get active and to get involved.

Whatever your background is, regardless of your goals, whichever group of young people you’re involved with, we want to work with you.

We want to empower young people to learn new skills and give them the opportunity to gain valuable experience.

We want to build the foundations for young people to create networks to take control of their own futures and fulfil their potential.

In a nutshell, the project has four main focuses, volunteering, coaching, playing and spectating.
